Outcomes you can expect:

This complete, 'done for you' service includes:

• Researching and writing the book
• Interviews with you, your colleagues, collaborators etc
• Writing the publishing proposal
• Advocating for you with publishers
• Sitting in with you on publishing meetings
• Working with the Wiley editors, typesetters, cover designers, marketing and sales team and shepherding it to publication
• Assistance with marketing advice, partnership opportunities, etc.

Time frame:

This ghost-writing service generally takes around 8 - 11 months from start to being on the bookshelf. 

You will need to commit to:

• 10 x 2.5 hour sessions (conducted via Zoom) 
• Being available to review the content to ensure you're happy with it as we progress

• Creating a writing schedule that you can commit to
• Identifying the right stories to tell and how to tell them
• Structuring the book correctly
• Nominating the right target audience so that you capture the right readers
• Finding the unique problem this book solves
• Competitive analysis of other books on the market to ensure yours is unique and stands out
• Leveraging a storytelling structure to keep the reader hooked and entertained
• Matching the book to your business objectives
• Introductions to Wiley Publishing and other traditional/hybrid publishers
• Advice on how to market the book, win awards, and create commercial partnerships

Fees:

My fee is $1.90 + gst per word, with a 50,000 word minimum ($95,000 + gst) and a maximum fee of $130,000 + gst. 

Some clients prefer to keep the book tight and concise and 50,000 words is sufficient for a good business book.

Some clients want a longer book as they need more space to tell their story. I cap my fees at $130,000 + gst so if the book goes over 68,000 words, there is no extra cost to you and you can have the book length run for as long you want.

A 10% + gst deposit is required upon signing on so that I can reserve your slot in my schedule.
